This position is responsible for driving trucks over established route to safely and efficiently deliver products and render services. The role involves loading and/or unloading products at various locations primarily within a specific geographic territory, which will usually be completed within that shift. The driver will deliver items such as perishable foods, table top items, special equipment, and frozen foods. Additionally, the driver will inform customers of new products or services, issue sales promotion materials, and resolve customer complaints. Recording information on daily sales/delivery records and obtaining customer signatures upon pickup/delivery is also required. Compliance with company policies and D.O.T. regulations is essential, along with performing other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
