About The Position

Night Candy Department Lead Cash-Wa Distributing is seeking a career-minded, goal-oriented leader to join our warehouse management team. This role is designed for a fast-paced decision-maker who excels at problem-solving and team communication. You will bridge the gap between floor operations and upper management, ensuring our candy distribution runs accurately and efficiently.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills and a "team-first" mentality.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and make quick, logical decisions.
• Comfortable analyzing data (picking speeds/error rates) to drive results.
• Willingness to be hands-on with warehouse equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Previous supervisory or lead experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the workflow of candy totes, ensuring correct palletizing and labeling.
• Analyze order selector speeds, monitor picking errors, and conduct one-on-one employee evaluations to improve accuracy.
• Plan employee schedules, resolve internal department disputes, and strategically reassign personnel based on real-time inventory volume.
• Collaborate with loaders to guarantee routes are properly stacked and work closely with senior managers to meet nightly warehouse goals.
• Learn to operate a pallet jack and forklift to assist in moving inventory as needed.
