About The Position

The Night Auditor is responsible for balancing revenue and settling accounts nightly, maintaining files, and resetting the system for the next day of operations while also performing Guest Service Agent tasks and duties. This role involves bookkeeping activities such as balancing accounts and conducting nightly audits, keeping records of room availability and guests' accounts, and preparing and distributing daily reports. The Night Auditor will audit and reconcile cashiers, consolidate and transmit all credit cards on a timely basis, and input and update financial information into the BRAINS network. Additionally, the position requires checking guests in and out, responding to guest inquiries, resolving complaints, and working towards increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction. The Night Auditor must also follow sustainability guidelines related to HHM's EarthView program and practice safe work habits while ensuring overall guest satisfaction. Other duties may be requested by management.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous night audit/accounting experience or equivalent training required.
  • Computer knowledge/Excel and arithmetic skills required.
  • FSD is a plus, required within 90 days of employment.

  • Practice safe work habits and wear protective safety equipment.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.
