About The Position

The Night Auditor works at the front desk of a hotel during the overnight, ensuring that the quality and integrity of the establishment are maintained just as diligently as they are during the day. This role is primarily responsible for overseeing the financial and customer service operations, ensuring a seamless experience for guests during the night shift.

Responsibilities

  • Managing front desk activity and handling guest check-ins and check-outs
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction by scheduling wake-up calls and other concierge activities according to guest preference
  • Handling customer requests and complaints
  • Managing and updating all official documentation pertaining to the role
  • Ensuring that all end-of-day activities have been successfully executed by employees in all departments
  • Answering calls and queries related to potential booking
  • Performing accounting duties such as reviewing, balancing, and compiling the daily financial transactions of the hotel
  • Preparing daily reports and balancing transactions
  • Answering inquiries pertaining to hotel services, registration of guests, and shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions
  • Resolving guest complaints or calling in maintenance crew for repairs
  • Handling cash transactions and processing payments
  • Performing security walks of the hotel property to ensure the safety of guests and employees
  • Responding to emergencies and notifying the appropriate authorities if necessary
  • Beginning set up for Breakfast
