About The Position

At Canopy by Hilton Sioux Falls, we believe the night shift sets the tone for the next day. We’re seeking an experienced Night Auditor who understands Hilton standards, systems, and service culture—and can confidently take ownership of our hotel overnight. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who already knows Hilton operations and thrives in a calm, independent environment while maintaining impeccable accuracy and guest service. A Night Auditor is responsible for overseeing the auditing, posting and balancing of daily financial transactions to support the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: Audit, post and balance daily cashiers' work for outlets including, but not limited to, outlets in Rooms and Food and Beverage Ensure credit card system reconciles to daily transaction lists Schedule, assign daily work, inform and train team members Monitor, observe and assist in evaluating team member performance

Requirements

  • Previous Hilton hotel experience required (Night Audit or Front Desk preferred)
  • Strong working knowledge of Hilton systems (OnQ experience strongly preferred)
  • Proven attention to detail and financial accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions overnight
  • Excellent communication and guest service skills
  • Dependable, professional, and calm under pressure
  • Shift pattern will need to consist of full flexibility to work overnights including weekends and holidays.
