About The Position

The Night Auditor at Drury Hotels performs all front desk functions, including checking guests in and out, promoting sales programs, maintaining guest records, and handling cash. A primary responsibility involves auditing the previous day’s receipts to verify and balance entries and running accurate reports. This role may also include assisting with breakfast setup, food preparation, service, and cleaning. The Night Auditor is often the sole team member on property for the majority of the work shift and is responsible for guest safety and security during overnight hours. The position requires providing exceptional guest service with a courteous, efficient, and friendly demeanor, responding promptly to inquiries, requests, and complaints with a "+1 Service Attitude," and contributing to a positive work environment for both team members and guests.

Requirements

  • Ability to take written and verbal direction and speak English clearly and read English.
  • Ability to relate to the public in a warm, friendly manner in providing a hospitable environment.
  • Ability to give attention to detail and to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently.
  • Thorough knowledge of Drury Hotels’ policies and procedures, for guest services.
  • Ability to handle money, make change and utilize office machines in the normal day-to-day activities.
  • Must be willing to and have the ability to work alone as scheduled.

Responsibilities

  • Performs all front desk related functions including checking guests in/out, promoting sales related programs, maintaining guest records, cash handling, etc.
  • Responsible for auditing the previous day’s receipts to verify and balance entries, runs reports and verifies accuracy of information.
  • May also assist with set up of breakfast, including food preparation, set up, service and/or cleaning.
  • Responsible for guest safety and security during overnight hours.
  • Ensures an exceptional guest experience by providing courteous, efficient, friendly service to all guests and potential guests in a professional manner.
  • Responds promptly and efficiently to inquiries, requests and complaints with a +1 Service Attitude.
  • Contributes to maintaining a positive work environment at all times for our diverse team and guests.
  • Maintains the front desk lobby area in a clean and organized manner.
  • Complies with hotel’s safety and security rules and instructions in performing work efficiently while protecting self, team members, guests and the hotel.
