About The Position

Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to fulfill the role of Night Auditor. This position is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our resort during overnight hours, encompassing a variety of responsibilities from front desk operations to financial auditing. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a night auditor role or similar position, preferably within the hospitality sector.
  • Proficiency in Jonas software and basic accounting principles.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of training others and managing guest relations.
  • Ability to work independently and make well-informed decisions under pressure.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and navigate the resort property.
  • Ability to work night shifts consistently and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of guest check-ins and check-outs during night shifts.
  • Uphold exceptional customer service standards, addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
  • Perform nightly audits using Jonas software to ensure all financial transactions are accurate and comply with company policies.
  • Reconcile daily financial reports and prepare summaries of the resort's financial activities.
  • Audit and inventory key assets such as Golf Carts and MiFi devices to ensure accountability and proper usage.
  • Train new staff members on front desk operations and use of Jonas software.
  • Provide occasional support to the bellman team and train bellmen as required.
  • Monitor security cameras and conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety and security of both guests and resort property.
  • Address security concerns or incidents and report to management as necessary.
  • Handle administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Ensure effective communication and cooperation with other departments to support overall resort operations.
