About The Position
The Night Auditor is responsible for overseeing hotel operations during the overnight shift. This role combines front desk duties with accounting responsibilities to ensure a smooth transition between business days. The Night Auditor provides exceptional guest service, balances daily financial transactions, and prepares reports for management.
Responsibilities
- Greet, check in, and check out guests in a professional and efficient manner.
- Verify and balance daily room charges, cash, credit card, and other transactions.
- Prepare and distribute daily audit reports to management.
- Monitor hotel safety and security during overnight hours.
- Respond to guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and courteously.
- Reconcile front desk cash drawers and ensure accurate financial records.
- Process reservations, cancellations, and wake-up calls.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the lobby and front desk area.
- Assist with any emergency situations or after-hours needs.
