Requirements

  • Strong Computer Skills: Essential for utilizing our PMS and other hotel management software.
  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail is crucial for both guest experience and financial accuracy.
  • Reliability & Responsibility: You're comfortable working independently and demonstrating a high degree of responsibility.
  • Basic Math & Accounting Skills: A fundamental understanding of financial reconciliation processes.

Responsibilities

  • Welcoming and registering late-arriving guests and processing early check-outs.
  • Answering phones and taking reservations to scheduling wake-up calls.
  • Handle any guest complaints or emergencies with patience and diplomacy, ensuring every guest feels heard and cared for.
  • Provide information that makes a guest's stay even better.
  • Manage payments and cash drawers with precision.
  • Perform nightly audits of the hotel's financial transactions, reconciling all accounts to ensure complete accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Responsible for posting room rates and taxes and preparing daily financial reports for management, providing the foundation for the next day's operations.
  • Monitor security systems, conduct regular security rounds, and respond to any incidents or emergencies, following established protocols to ensure the safety of everyone in the building.
  • Inputting and managing guest information in our Property Management System (PMS), communicating vital shift information to the next team, and completing daily checklists that set the stage for success.
