About The Position

The Night Auditor is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service while ensuring the accuracy of daily financial reporting during overnight operations. This role serves as the face of the hotel during overnight hours, balancing guest service responsibilities with accounting and audit functions. Requirements

  • Ability to obtain a Liquor License – Kansas City, MO within 30 days of hire
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn hotel systems (experience with Marriott systems a plus)
  • Friendly, outgoing, and service-oriented personality
  • Strong ability to multitask and stay organized
  • High level of attention to detail, especially with financial tasks
  • Patience and professionalism when handling guest concerns
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Must be available to work Friday and Saturday evenings/overnight shifts

Nice To Haves

  • Flexibility to work additional shifts as needed is a plus
  • Prior hotel front desk or customer service experience preferred, but not required
  • experience with Marriott systems a plus

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and efficiently handle check-in and check-out processes
  • Respond promptly to guest requests, concerns, and inquiries
  • Answer and direct internal and external phone calls professionally
  • Take and input reservations accurately over the phone
  • Run nightly audit procedures and complete all required shift reports
  • Balance cash drawers and reconcile financial transactions
  • Execute daily closing reports in accordance with hotel and brand standards
  • Communicate effectively with other departments regarding guest needs or operational issues
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests during overnight hours
