About The Position

Delta Hotels is looking for an individual with flexible hours to join our team. This position works the hours of 11 pm to 7 am. Night Auditor plays a crucial role in both financial and guest service operations ensuring smooth operations while most of the hotel staff is off duty during the overnight shift at hotels. Their daily responsibilities typically include: Guest Services: Checking guests in and out, handling reservations, and responding to inquiries. Accounting Tasks: Reviewing, balancing, and compiling daily financial transactions. Software Proficiency: Familiarity with hotel management systems like Opera PMS is a plus but not necessarily a requirement. Security & Compliance: Performing security walks, ensuring guest safety, and handling urgent situations, such as medical emergencies or disturbances. Reporting: Preparing daily financial reports. Customer Support: Addressing guest complaints and coordinating with maintenance or other departments. Processing Payments: Verifying and posting payments, including credit card transactions and cash deposits . Generating Audit Reports: Compiling financial summaries for management to review in the morning. 2. Guest Services & Front Desk Operations Check-ins & Check-outs: Assisting late-night arrivals and early departures. Handling Reservations: Managing last-minute bookings and ensuring room availability. Responding to Guest Requests: Addressing inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly. 3. Customer Service & Communication Problem-Solving: Handling guest complaints and resolving issues efficiently. Interpersonal Skills: Providing excellent service to late-night guests. Clear Communication: Coordinating with other departments and writing reports. Night Auditors are the backbone of hotel operations during the quiet hours, ensuring everything runs smoothly for the next day.
