About The Position

MH Hospitality, an Omaha-based hotel development and management company, sets a new standard for customer service and excellence in the hospitality industry. A Hilton-affiliated MH Hospitality Hotel in the Omaha area is seeking an experienced and meticulous Night Auditor. This role involves overseeing guest check-ins/outs, handling customer service issues, assisting with fiscal reporting, and supporting evening personnel to ensure a professional, efficient, and welcoming environment for all. While previous Hilton experience is ideal, the company is willing to train individuals seeking professional advancement who are comfortable with overnight shifts and committed to excellence. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Familiarity with front desk operations and guest relations best practices
  • Excellent phone etiquette and experience with multi-line systems
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality
  • Knowledge of night audit processes and basic accounting principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Strong decision-making abilities and capable of thinking on your feet
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work overnight shifts and flexible schedule to work some weekends and holidays

Nice To Haves

  • Previous hotel, resort, or hospitality experience preferred
  • Hilton experience strongly preferred, with training in PEP (Property Engagement Platform)

Responsibilities

  • Perform night audits by verifying and reconciling daily transactions, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting
  • Provide exceptional customer service at the front desk, assisting guests with check-ins, check-outs, and inquiries
  • Manage multi-line phone systems efficiently, addressing guest needs and directing calls as necessary
  • Maintain accurate records of guest accounts and transactions while ensuring confidentiality and security
  • Resolve guest issues promptly and effectively to enhance overall satisfaction
  • Prepare reports detailing occupancy, revenue, and other key metrics for management review
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure all areas are clean and operational
  • Uphold hotel policies and procedures while fostering a welcoming atmosphere
  • Other duties as required
