About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Night Auditor to join The Seagate Hotel & Spa team. This overnight role is responsible for supporting front desk operations while completing essential accounting and reporting functions that ensure the accuracy of the hotel’s daily financial activity. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and committed to delivering exceptional guest service while maintaining accuracy in overnight auditing procedures.

Requirements

  • Previous front desk, night audit, or hospitality experience preferred
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Experience with Lightspeed (Marriott) property management system preferred
  • Familiarity with HotSOS maintenance and service request platform preferred
  • Experience handling cash, balancing accounts, and maintaining financial accuracy
  • Ability to multitask and work independently during overnight shifts
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to remain calm, friendly, and professional while handling multiple requests
  • Understanding of hotel policies, procedures, and guest service standards
  • Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push carts up to 250 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Perform all Front Desk Agent responsibilities during the overnight shift, including guest check-in and check-out
  • Ensure all cash banks are counted, controlled, and balanced accurately
  • Review guest folios to verify that payments match final balances at check-out
  • Record daily totals of credit card transactions and deposits
  • Verify and monitor outstanding credit card authorizations
  • Record and track direct billings, ensuring each includes a reference number
  • Verify outstanding ledger balances for direct billing accounts
  • Confirm advanced deposits for upcoming reservations
  • Post charges and adjustments to guest accounts accurately
  • Run required reports within the property management system
  • Complete the night audit process, closing out daily activities and preparing the Room Revenue Report
  • Prepare and distribute the Daily Revenue Report according to hotel procedures
  • Balance call accounting end-of-day reports with the property management system and resolve discrepancies
  • Prepare the morning room status report and complete end-of-day procedures
  • Assist with guest requests and resolve issues promptly during overnight hours
  • Maintain front desk signage, banquet event postings, and daily event schedules
  • Follow concierge and guest service procedures in accordance with Front Desk SOPs
  • Adhere to hotel security protocols and report any suspicious activity to management
  • Recognize and communicate exceptional service demonstrated by team members
  • Perform other duties as assigned
