About The Position

Welcomes all guests at registration, checkout all guests in a professional manner. Assists in accurate completion of night audit processes, report packets and daily sales report. Assists guests with valet parking and amenity delivery as needed. This position pays $18.00 - $20.00/hour depending on experience. This is a graveyard shift position.

Requirements

  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills are required.
  • Must understand Microsoft Windows to include: Word, Excel
  • Must have good knowledge of Opera Hotel Operating System.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written & spoken)
  • Ability to give excellent customer service
  • Ability to handle crisis situations in calm & knowledgeable manner

Nice To Haves

  • Night Audit, Front Desk or Bank Teller experience.

Responsibilities

  • Register guests in a timely manner.
  • Ensure registration card is signed and a method of payment is provided.
  • Work and communicate with other departments to meet guests needs and requests to ensure the highest level of guest service.
  • Answer all telephone calls in 3 rings and utilizes proper scripted greeting.
  • Maintain guest accounts by posting all charges and payments accurately.
  • Process deposits and all forms of payment according to resort policy.
  • Accurately assign revenue to appropriate department
  • Assist the Night Manager in change of day procedures
  • Assist the Night Manager in the generation of Daily Sales Report
  • Ensure prompt and accurate delivery of night audit report packs
  • Keep a log of all guest requests and ensure requests are completed in a timely manner.
  • Deliver amenities, faxes and packages to guest rooms as directed by the Night Manager.
  • Assist guests with luggage and valet parking services as directed by the Night Manager.
  • Audit, balance and report on all food and beverage outlets (e.g. restaurants, lounges, banquets, room service) cash and credit operations to include but not limited to checks, over/short figures/tally sheets, deposits, counts, house charges, promotional materials, postings, etc. and reset all registers to ensure accurate, timely information.
  • Audit, balance and prepare, verify and report on room information to provide rooms management with a picture of how they are performing.
  • Prepare and input statistics and income journal sheets for preparation of daily reports
  • Protect the assets of the property.
  • Follow policies and procedures in training manuals and employee handbook.
  • Any and all reasonable requests of management
