About The Position

LaTour Hotels & Resorts, Inc. (LHR) is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Night Auditor to join their team at Peppertree Ocean Club. This overnight role is essential in ensuring smooth resort operations by providing exceptional guest service while accurately reconciling daily financial transactions. The Night Auditor serves as both the overnight front desk representative and the financial reconciler for the resort. This dual responsibility ensures accuracy in reporting while providing guests with a seamless check-in, check-out, and overall hospitality experience. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working independently, has a sharp eye for detail, and thrives in delivering excellent guest service—even during late hours.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 1 year of hospitality front desk experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (English required)
  • Ability to multitask between phones, guest interactions, and computer-based work
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • 10-key and basic math skills
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently
  • Demonstrates LHR Core Values: accountability, adaptability, customer focus, enthusiasm, integrity, and safety awareness

Nice To Haves

  • Prior night audit experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Greet and register guests with professionalism, warmth, and efficiency
  • Manage guest check-ins/check-outs, reservations, and room rentals in line with sales strategies
  • Provide information about resort amenities, services, and operating hours
  • Answer and direct phone calls while resolving guest concerns promptly and courteously
  • Perform accurate cash handling and payment processing
  • Enter and review daily resort transactions for accounting accuracy
  • Reconcile and balance revenue activity and occupancy records
  • Complete all audit functions on time and with precision
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions
  • Support additional guest service duties as needed to uphold resort standards
