About The Position

Embark on a Nocturnal Adventure in Bar Harbor's Premier Hotel! Are you a night owl with a passion for precision and hospitality? We're seeking a meticulous individual to join our team as a Night Auditor, ensuring our guests have a restful and delightful experience in the heart of Bar Harbor. As a Hotel Night Auditor, you will conduct end-of-day accounting procedures, balancing accounts, and ensuring financial accuracy. Be the beacon of assistance during the night, providing exceptional service for late check-ins, inquiries, and ensuring a secure and peaceful environment. You will also utilize hotel management systems to process reservations, check-ins, and check-outs accurately. Weekends, nights, and holidays are a must. The starting wage is $21 per hour. Requirements

Work well with others including other departments.

Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.
Must be able to work early mornings, late nights and unpredictable hours, including weekends and holidays.
Prior customer service experience is preferred.
High School diploma and/or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

Acknowledges our guest with a smile and friendly “hello”. Promptly attends to guest needs
Performs calculations of all department’s day work. (Ability to gather, analyzes, and evaluates data)
Completes daily reports – balanced to zero
Maintains records of routine accounting transactions; Assists in preparation of financial and operations reports including trial balances, adjustments and closing entries
Follows all audit procedures as specified by brand
Acts as night manager in absence of manager on duty. (Ability to work unsupervised)
Arrives to work on-time and ready to begin shift
Demonstrates a team behavior and attitude of working together to accomplish tasks (even if outside specific job duties)
Completes work in a timely manner and meets productivity standards/expectations
Performs additional duties as assigned
