Balance revenue and settle accounts nightly, maintain files, and reset the system for the next day of operations while performing Guest Service Agent tasks and duties. This role involves performing bookkeeping activities, such as balancing accounts and conducting nightly audits. It also requires keeping records of room availability and guests' accounts, manually or using computers, and preparing and distributing daily reports. The Night Auditor will audit and reconcile cashiers, and audit, reconcile, consolidate, and transmit all credit cards on a timely basis. Inputting and updating financial information into the BRAINS network is also a key part of the role. Additionally, the position includes checking guests in/out and performing Guest Service Agents tasks, responding to guest inquiries and resolving complaints, being aware of guest satisfaction scores and working toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction, practicing safe work habits and wearing protective safety equipment, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction. Other duties as requested by management may also be required.
