About The Position

The Platinum Hotel seeks a Night Auditor to join our team. Located just a few blocks from the Strip, you are close to the action but still enjoy an easy commute to work. This is a FT position from 10pm-6am 5 nights per week at $18 per hour. Must be 21 years of age. What you’ll be doing: · Reconcile and complete all daily Front Desk Agents’ and F&B servers work. Ensure that any issues from the day are corrected before processing the audit. · Run all night audit functions consistent with closing out all daily transactions and preparing for the following day’s operations. · Provide next day reports for the front office, housekeeping, sales, and GM as requested. · Act as the first point of contact for any overnight guest issues. · Maintain coffee machine and market areas, restocking when necessary · Process all retail transactions for the guests. · Post miscellaneous charges as requested. What you need to know: · Knowledge of front desk operations and procedures, guest services and hotel services. · Ability to work independently and desire to participate as part of a team. · Possess proficient computer skills including proficient knowledge of Excel. · Ability to use tact and understanding when dealing with a variety of customer service problems, including stressful and highly emotional situations. · Possess high school graduate level mathematical aptitude and demonstrate standard cash handling procedures and knowledge of computerized cash register systems. · Possess complete knowledge of emergency procedures of the hotel. · Ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations. · Able to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks. · High School Graduate or GED required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
