About The Position

COURTYARD BY MARRIOTT BETHLEHEM is looking for a talented Part Time Night Auditor who will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and accurate completion of all night audit functions and ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during the night shift. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong numerical skills, and excellent customer service abilities. The Night Auditor must be able to handle a range of responsibilities independently and provide assistance to guests as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in hospitality or accounting is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills with the ability to handle financial transactions accurately.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and empathy.
  • Proficient in using hotel management software and computer systems for night audit functions.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during the night shift.
  • Flexible schedule, including the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Knowledge of safety and security protocols in a hotel environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct night audit procedures, including but not limited to reconciling daily transactions, balancing accounts, and preparing financial reports.
  • Verify the accuracy of guest accounts, ensuring that all charges and payments are posted correctly.
  • Handle guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, providing excellent customer service throughout the night shift.
  • Assist with the check-in and check-out process for late arrivals and early departures, ensuring a seamless experience for guests.
  • Monitor and respond to hotel security systems and take appropriate action in case of emergencies or disturbances.
  • Maintain accurate records of all night operations, including guest requests, incidents, and any other relevant information.
  • Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure smooth operations during the night shift, including housekeeping, maintenance, and security.
  • Prepare and distribute daily reports, including occupancy levels, revenue summaries, and any other required documentation.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the hotel premises to identify any maintenance or safety issues and report them to the appropriate department.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of guest information and hotel records at all times.
