The position involves performing all daily audit functions for the front office and each outlet of the hotel. This includes reviewing room and tax postings for accuracy, correcting any errors immediately, and ensuring all house charges are posted accurately and in a timely manner. The role also requires completing a back-up of the front office computer system and night audit program daily, as well as rebuilding the front office system and performing related computer maintenance. The individual must understand and follow the management company's accounting and credit policies and procedures. Additionally, the position is responsible for all front desk functions, including check-ins, check-outs, payments, reservations, PBX operation, and answering calls promptly. Guests should be treated warmly, courteously, and professionally, with accurate directions provided to room locations.
