About The Position

The Night Auditor/Front Desk position at LD Hospitality involves managing front desk operations and performing auditing duties to ensure accurate financial reporting and exceptional guest service. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Six months to one year of related experience preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid Certification or ability to obtain.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Basic knowledge of hotel operations or ability to learn quickly.
  • Good time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all hotel guests, ensuring their stay is comfortable and accommodating.
  • Perform quality assurance (QA) requirements for the department.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and local ordinances regarding personnel, security, cash handling, and guest relations.
  • Remain visible and available for guests at all times.
  • Assist team with training, supplies, and support to provide Brand quality service.
  • Take initiative to assist or answer questions throughout the hotel.
  • Perform night audit to verify previous Front Desk shift transactions and complete the night audit checklist.
  • Distribute newspapers and folios under guest room doors.
  • Print registration cards for the next workday.
  • Program wakeup calls and post/balance all phone calls and restaurant paperwork.
  • Prepare and balance flash report and fax as needed to owners and corporate office.
  • Walk the property for safety and security measures, ensuring all exterior doors are locked.
  • Maintain proper administration of key control and communicate with management regarding emergencies.
  • Verify room status with housekeeping report and assist with breakfast setup and laundry duties as needed.
  • Complete maintenance work orders and deliver them to the supervisor in a timely manner.
