About The Position

The Night Auditor at Hampton Inn Buffalo-Airport/Galleria Mall is responsible for providing exceptional service to guests during overnight hours. This role involves managing check-in and check-out procedures, handling financial transactions, and ensuring guest satisfaction by addressing their needs and inquiries. The Night Auditor also performs essential administrative tasks, including balancing accounts and preparing reports, contributing to the overall operational excellence of the hotel.

Requirements

  • Customer service experience, preferably in a hotel setting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Computer knowledge including intranet, Property Management System, WORD, and EXCEL is strongly preferred.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving history subject to company approval.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with hotel brand systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests and complete the check-in/check-out procedures using the Property Management System.
  • Handle cash, credit card information, and goods at the property.
  • Identify guest needs and provide relevant information about hotel services and amenities.
  • Respond to all guest requests in a timely manner.
  • Take reservations from incoming callers and input all pertinent information into the hotel management system.
  • Update and cancel reservations as requested by guests.
  • Organize previous shifts' paperwork and balance all room accounts and vouchers.
  • Investigate and analyze out-of-balance situations and run trial balance reports.
  • Prepare guest folios for express check-out.
