About The Position

The Night Audit position is a crucial role within the hotel function, requiring a self-motivated and disciplined individual who can work overnight hours from 11 PM to 7 AM. This role is not just about numbers; it involves welcoming guests, overseeing the processing and reconciling of daily receipts, and preparing guest bills. The Night Auditor plays a vital part in ensuring that the hotel runs smoothly during the night shift, providing a seamless experience for guests and maintaining the integrity of the hotel's financial operations. The Night Audit position demands a high level of organization and attention to detail. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing guest check-ins and check-outs, responding to guest needs and requests, and securing payments while verifying and adjusting bills as necessary. This role also involves handling the accounting of money, receipts, guest accounts, and credit through the operation of the Front Desk computer system, as well as completing reports required to ensure the company's funds are secure. Additionally, the Night Auditor will close out the day for both front desk and food and beverage computer systems, summarize the night's operations, and communicate with the necessary departments to ensure a smooth transition from one business day to the next.
