About The Position
As a Night Audit at Residence Inn by Marriott San Marcos, you will perform all daily audit functions for the front office and each outlet of the hotel. Your responsibilities will include reviewing room and tax postings for accuracy, correcting any errors, and ensuring all house charges are posted accurately and in a timely manner. You will also complete the back-up of the front office computer system and night audit program daily, as well as the rebuild of the front office system and other related computer maintenance. It is essential to understand and follow the management company's accounting and credit policies and procedures. Additionally, you will be responsible for all front desk functions including check-ins, check-outs, payments, reservations, and PBX operation, ensuring that guests are treated promptly, warmly, courteously, and professionally.
