About The Position

The Sonnenalp Hotel is looking for a Full-time year-round night Audit. Paid Employee Housing Available with this position. The Night Auditor is responsible for completing all accounting procedures in a timely fashion and must maintain the highest standard of service and hospitality at all times. This position requires greeting, registering, checking out, and assisting guests efficiently, courteously, and professionally in all Front Office related functions.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Valid Colorado Driver's license and clean driving record.
• Minimum one year Customer Service experience.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience with HMS or similar Lodging Software preferred.
• Efficient with computers, Microsoft Office, and web based systems.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision; self-motivated & self-starter.
• Effective interpersonal and public speaking skills.
• Effective organizational skills.
• Demonstrate effective leadership and coaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet, register, check out, and assist guests efficiently, courteously, and professionally.
• Complete all accounting procedures in a timely fashion.
• Possess a valid driver's license and be able to park and drive vehicles.
• Be familiar with all front desk computer operations and procedures for arrivals and departures.
• Maintain control on all room keys and departmental keys.
• Handle and respond to customer complaints and needs calmly.
• Post charges to guests, master bills, and other applicable accounts.
• Assist in the operation of the PBX switchboard; take messages for guests and hotel staff.
• Set wake up calls on the phone system.
• Learn and adhere to all fire and emergency procedures.
• Have full knowledge of the VIP/escort program and escort guests to their room.
• Run daily revenue reports; verify all cash deposits from the Spa, Front Desk, and F&B outlets; prepare the daily bank deposit.
• Ensure that all overnight room service orders are taken in accordance with LHW standards.
• Prepare late night menu items and ensure proper delivery techniques.
• Ensure that all overnight requests for Housekeeping are met in a timely manner.
