About The Position

As a NICU RN, you will provide specialized care for newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, focusing on those who are sick or premature. This role involves delivering a range of medical care, from intensive life-saving measures to rehabilitation and nourishment, requiring a strong foundation in infant care. Travel nurses in this position will work temporarily at various locations, adapting quickly to new environments while ensuring high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of recent experience in neonatal care or a related field.
• Active RN license in one of the 50 US states.
• Additional certifications as required by specific facilities or units.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care for sick or premature newborns in the NICU.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

• Educate families on infant care and health management.
