About The Position

The incumbent will be responsible for the respiratory assessment, therapeutic treatment, evaluation, testing, education and communication as it pertains to the Level III NICU. The incumbent will also provide respiratory care as needed for all high risk deliveries and pediatric emergencies.

Requirements

• Associate degree in respiratory care from an AMA/CoARC accredited program.
• Holds and maintains an Ohio license to practice respiratory care.
• CRT/RRT credential by the NBRC.
• BLS and NRP certification for healthcare providers must be obtained within the first 90 days of employment.
• A minimum of 2 years' Level III NICU experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct respiratory assessments for patients in the Level III NICU.
• Provide therapeutic treatment and evaluation for neonatal patients.
• Perform testing and education related to respiratory care.
• Communicate effectively with medical staff, nursing staff, and other allied health practitioners.
• Provide respiratory care for high risk deliveries and pediatric emergencies.
