About The Position

The NICU Registered Nurse 2 - Supplemental Tier C is responsible for providing direct patient care to assigned patients in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This role involves utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring high standards of nursing practice and patient safety. The nurse will work collaboratively with healthcare teams to coordinate care and support the needs of patients and their families.

Requirements

• Current registration with the Maryland State Board of Examiners of Nurses as a Registered Nurse.
• Completion of 'Healthcare Provider' CPR course bi-annually.
• One year of Registered Nurse experience in the specific specialty area.
• Associate Degree from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Compiles database and formulates nursing diagnosis through assessment.

• Communicates the patient's status and plan of care to healthcare professionals.
