About The Position

NICU Nurse Manager Neonatal ICU Saint Peter's is among the few hospitals in the world to have earned its 7th consecutive Magnet® designation and its first Magnet with Distinction designation. Our team of award-winning nurses is growing, and we are looking for talented, compassionate RNs to join our team. The NICU Nurse Manager will: Assess, plan and evaluate patient care on a 24-hour basis for a specific service line/unit or units. Will have authority and responsibility for implementing hospital unit standards, policies, and procedures. Will be accountable for quality and safety, service excellence, staff performance/employee satisfaction and budgetary responsibility within their scope of responsibility.

Requirements

  • Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required, Master's preferred
  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of progressive leadership in an acute care setting
  • High level of interpersonal skills to resolve complex problems requiring innovative solutions and the ability to negotiate in sensitive situations
  • BLS Certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association
  • National certification or nursing administrative certification within one year in specialty specific to care provided
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Provider)required to start.
