Under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse, the NICU Nurse Intern performs nursing tasks for which he/she has been trained and has demonstrated competency through a skills checklist.
Requirements
- Senior level status in any nursing program required
- Ability to communicate and understand detailed instructions relating to basic patient care and transport
- Must be able to work and stand for long periods
- Must be able to lift and position patients weighing up to 75 pounds
