About The Position

The NICET Certified Fire Alarm Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting fire alarm systems in commercial buildings. This role requires a strong understanding of alarm system components and the ability to provide technical support to customers. The technician will also be responsible for ensuring that all systems are tested and inspected for proper functionality, while maintaining accurate documentation of services performed.

Requirements

• NICET Fire Alarm Certification is required
• Knowledge of alarm system components, wiring, and programming
• Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in alarm system installation
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Some electrical background preferred
• Fire alarm experience is required

Responsibilities
