As a NFE Performance Architect at Fidelity Information Services, you will be part of a dynamic team focused on addressing some of the most pressing challenges in financial services and technology. This role is integral to the OPF Project- IT Architect Team, where you will leverage your extensive experience in performance engineering to enhance the performance of Java/JEE applications. You will collaborate with various teams and architects to develop comprehensive performance engineering strategies and approaches that ensure optimal system performance. Your technical expertise will guide the team in implementing scalable architecture and effective profiling and troubleshooting techniques. In this position, you will actively evaluate and recommend the latest Application Performance Management (APM) and tracing tools, working closely with development teams to facilitate quicker resolutions to performance issues. You will lead initiatives to support continuous integration with automation solutions for performance in cloud environments. Your role will also involve analyzing performance results, troubleshooting bottlenecks, and identifying potential optimizations to enhance system efficiency. You will be expected to demonstrate exceptional communication skills, flexibility, teamwork, and leadership as you work across multiple globally distributed teams to achieve performance goals. Additionally, having knowledge of FIS' products and services, as well as the financial services industry, will be beneficial. Understanding basic financial analysis principles and ratios will also be an added advantage.
