About The Position

Position Description NFAC Building Monitor Accountability Reports directly to Stuart Benkert and takes directions from Stuart Benkert Responsibilities The Building Monitor is responsible for maintaining the entry access and occupancy of the Noel Fine Arts Center (NFAC). The Building Monitor maintains the security of the entryways, monitors various open spaces, classrooms/labs, and contacts campus police when appropriate. Specific Duties Responsible for the closing duties in the Noel Fine Arts Center and monitoring building access points, academic spaces and occupants. Report all building infractions to campus police and monitor building usage. Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Applicants must be at least a part-time student (six undergraduate or five graduate credits)
Have at least 2 semesters remaining at UWSP
Being in good academic standing (cumulative and semester GPA of 2.0 or higher)
Passing a criminal background check (only criminal activity pertaining directly to the position description will be evaluated.)
Applicants for this position must demonstrate great communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently with no direct supervision.

Nice To Haves

The applicant should preferably have a good knowledge of the campus, University functions, College of Fine Arts and Communication operations and policies.
