Summary of Position The Childcare Manager is responsible for the staffing of all childcare needs for MISSION Bible studies, groups, and special events. The Childcare Manager is responsible to ensure the childcare environments have everything they need from supplies to staffing.

  • Schedule Childcare workers for weekday studies, groups and/ or other on campus functions in need of childcare.
  • Train and onboard new childcare workers
  • Be available/work onsite during childcare events, to oversee classrooms, childcare staff, as well as the check-in process
  • Manage and handle any last-minute childcare changes, such as childcare staff call-outs, additional kids signed up, etc.)
  • Work in conjunction with the Kids Support Specialist to ensure information accurate is being communicated and planned for in childcare, such as accurate room assignments and registered kids in need of childcare
  • Ensure rooms are stocked with the necessary childcare supplies they need and are kept separated from the Sunday classroom supplies
  • Work in conjunction with the Tuesday Night Bible studies to provide additional childcare workers needed for those nights
  • Other tasks as assigned by Manager
