About The Position

The Next Gen Ministry intern would be responsible for aiding the Next Gen Ministry in planning events, weekly teaching, intentional discipleship, and outreach strategies for both student & college ministry. This position primarily assists the Next Gen Pastor for leading the student ministry and college-aged ministry.

Requirements

• Is a fully devoted follower of Christ.
• Fully supports the vision & mission of South Haven Baptist church.
• Makes sharing his/her faith a priority.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting in leading the youth and college ministries.
• Assist the Next Gen pastor in championing families, youth, and college-age students.
• Help lead the student ministry and college ministry on a weekly basis.
• Required to lead at least one weekly small group Bible study in the student ministry or college ministry.
• Interact and communicate effectively with church members, staff, and community members, while building and strengthening relationships and connections.
