About The Position
WeVote has an open volunteering position for a Newsletter Writer / Content Developer (2-3+ hours per week) who wants to use their existing skills and learn new skills, while helping strengthen American Democracy. The newsletter writer will be tasked with writing engaging and informative content that shares news, information, goals, and wins for our all-volunteer voter activation nonprofit. We are looking for a writer to join the team who will help draft content that aligns with our mission and values. You will assist with content planning and may also be asked to help with research, interviewing, and writing including write stories, volunteer profiles, event info, and related news, all designed to build awareness and do a bit of cheerleading.
