PURPOSE/REASON FOR THE POSITION : Produce newscasts and gather information for news stories for WHO-TV, WHO 13 News and www.who13.com. PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONS ESSENTIAL TO THE JOB : Ability to produce evening and morning newscasts. Ability to write news stories. Ability to read information sources. Ability to handle live breaking news. Ability to handle deadline pressure. Ability to give directions to anchors, reporters, photographers, and directors.
