Being a News Production/Master Control Operator means you will be a part of a team that works together to put local daily newscasts and entertainment programming on the air! Nothing gets on the air without the individuals in this department! This vital behind-the-scenes position plays a key role as we strive to tell the stories that connect our audience to our communities.

Requirements

• Passion for broadcasting.
• Savvy computer skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and diplomatic under stressful situations with shifting priorities.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in television production.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and problem solve during daily newscasts.
• Collaborate with other departments to achieve seamless execution of newscasts.
• Maintain quality and discipline during show productions.
• Direct newscasts, run cameras, and perform master control duties.
