About The Position
This is a project/limited term position, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed. The News Line Producer for the Noticias Telemundo Ahora streaming channel will oversee and manage content, build show rundowns and segments, and edit video and scripts when needed. The role involves tracking news and events, coordinating coverage with digital/linear managers and assignment desk producers, and producing breaking news and update stories as they happen instead of waiting for a scheduled newscast. The producer must anticipate the needs of news coverage and help coordinate video, graphics, scripts, and other elements. Newsgathering savvy and social media knowledge are essential, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The producer will write sharp headlines, scripts, and segments, work with the digital team to develop and produce special content, coordinate interviews in the field, and produce stories for audiences on digital and social media platforms. The role requires expertise in timing in a control room environment and the ability to guide talent, producers, and the technical team in the control room.
