The WGNO News Producer Internship is for students interested in a practical experience in broadcast journalism. The News Producer internship introduces the intern to the dynamics of producing-writing stories, tease writing, rewriting wire copy, editing, researching stories, building newscast rundowns, and control room skills. Each internship requires a minimum of 20 hours per week for 8 weeks. Interns will be supervised and participate in meaningful learning experiences. Upon completion of the internship, the student will be evaluated through a written review by the internship supervisor. Previous internships are a plus.
