About The Position
WPEC CBS 12, In West Palm Beach, Florida is seeking an experienced, hands-on News Director with strong leadership skills and a bold style to lead one of the strongest local newsrooms in the country. The News Director is involved in all aspects of the Content Center, from managing content on all platforms to recruiting, hiring, and training. You have the opportunity to work with an amazing team and supportive company to lead a group of journalists who strive to serve our communities. Our mission is to produce impactful stories with a distinctive focus on balanced news and severe weather coverage across all platforms. You must have a passion for innovation and embrace multiple platform storytelling. We need someone who can super serve our audience and deliver 24/7 content with storytelling optimized for each screen.
