About The Position
WZTV/WUXP/WNAB is seeking a dynamic full-time morning News Anchor who is not only an outstanding journalist but also possesses a great personality and strong leadership skills. This role requires the anchor to be a team leader, actively participating in the planning of shows and regularly producing content. The ideal candidate will have a competitive passion to win and an openness to innovation, which is essential in today’s fast-paced news environment. The winning candidate will embrace social media and know how to engage consistently with the audience, making collaboration a significant part of the role. Additionally, our anchors are expected to be active in the community, serving as willing representatives of the FOX 17 brand in the greater Nashville area. The position demands strong leadership skills, a smooth and pleasant delivery, and exceptional writing skills coupled with sound news judgment. Candidates should also possess sharp video shooting and editing skills, along with exemplary communication abilities.
