Responsibilities

• Take an active role in newsgathering across all platforms (broadcast, digital, and social).
• Develop compelling stories with strong live shots, creative graphics, and engaging content.
• Produce newscasts as needed, demonstrating leadership and teamwork.
• Coach and mentor less-experienced reporters and producers.
• Actively engage with viewers on social media and during public appearances.
• Cover breaking news and urgent newsroom situations with urgency and authority.
• Participate in community events and represent the station as a local leader.
