About The Position
WDAM 7 - On Your Side - is looking for a primary news anchor and storyteller. The successful candidate will report weekly and co-anchor our 5:00 P.M., 6:00 P.M., and 6:30 P.M. newscasts Monday through Friday. They will also solo anchor the 10:00 P.M. newscast. Candidates must be energetic, and driven, have solid news judgment, and have strong reporting, and have live skills. Candidates must be able to tell difficult stories and be creative - adapting to various news stories.
