About The Position
WDAM 7 - On Your Side - is looking for a Morning news anchor and storyteller. The successful candidate delivers at least one news package each week and co-anchors our 5:00 AM through 7:00 AM newscasts Monday through Friday. This person would also have the opportunity to be live in the Noon newscast for community events or breaking news. Candidates must be energetic, have solid news judgment, have strong reporting, and possess live skills. Candidates must be able to tell difficult stories and be creative - adapting to various news stories.
