Purpose of Role The New York Metals Intern supports research and forecasting initiatives by providing analytical insights that inform strategic decision‑making within the metals market. The role is responsible for assisting in the development of forecasting models, analyzing news headlines and sentiment data to support market predictions, and conducting research on wire mills and other industry participants. In addition, this role compiles and presents research findings, supports data collection and organization efforts, and collaborates with team members to refine forecasting methodologies that strengthen overall market analysis capabilities.
