About The Position
The Seasonal part associate is responsible for accurately ringing up sales in the register and wrapping purchases to prevent breakage and protect plants. This position also involves assisting customers and providing information about shop merchandise and general Garden programs. Additionally, the associate will stock displays in a neat and organized fashion, monitor items needed from the warehouse, and perform daily cleaning tasks to maintain the shop's appearance. Furthermore, this position supports NYBG's Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility initiatives and actively helps to build and maintain an inclusive organizational culture throughout the institution.
