About The Position

Lois Law Firm is seeking a New York-Barred Attorney to join our growing litigation practice, where you will defend some of America's most iconic employers in New York workers' compensation actions. This role requires a willingness to stand up for your clients, to be an advocate, and to ensure a fair court process for all parties. You will have significant client contact and opportunities to present creative strategies in court.

Requirements

  • New York-Barred Attorney
  • New York bar in good standing is required
  • Litigation and trial experience preferred
  • Successful candidates must be ambitious and driven, possess a strong work ethic and have good interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Represent client interests at virtual hearings and telephonic depositions
  • Counsel clients on emerging issues in litigated matters
  • Prepare exposure analysis and conduct settlement negotiations
  • Consistently apply firm standards and tactics to achieve client goals
