About The Position

Lois Law Firm is seeking a New York-Barred Attorney to join our growing litigation practice, where you will defend some of America's most iconic employers in New York workers' compensation actions. This role requires a willingness to stand up for your clients, to be an advocate, and to ensure a fair court process for all parties. You will have significant client contact and opportunities to present creative strategies in court.

Requirements

New York-Barred Attorney
New York bar in good standing is required
Litigation and trial experience preferred
Successful candidates must be ambitious and driven, possess a strong work ethic and have good interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to build rapport with clients
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

Represent client interests at virtual hearings and telephonic depositions
Counsel clients on emerging issues in litigated matters
Prepare exposure analysis and conduct settlement negotiations
Consistently apply firm standards and tactics to achieve client goals
