About The Position

The New to Acute Program for Registered Nurses (RNs) at Southwest Healthcare's Rancho Springs Hospital and Inland Valley Hospital is designed for nurses with at least one year of experience who are interested in transitioning to acute care. This program includes 8 weeks of didactic training, hands-on learning experiences, and clinical preceptorship, starting in February 2025. Full-time positions are available with flexible day or night shifts based on departmental needs, offering 36 hours per week and comprehensive benefits.

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
  • Current California RN license.
  • BLS (AHA) certification.
  • ACLS (AHA) certification.
  • NIH Stroke Certification to be completed by the end of the week of NEO.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Med/Surg/Tele nursing.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
