What to Expect from the RN Residency: 1:1 preceptorship with experienced nurses Skills workshops & simulation labs to reinforce learning Peer cohort experience for shared growth and support Ongoing education & professional development opportunities Continued check-ins and guidance through your first year 📍 Opportunities Across BayCare Hospitals Morton Plant Hospital (Clearwater) Mease Countryside Hospital (Safety Harbor) Mease Dunedin Hospital BayCare Alliant Hospital (Dunedin) St. Anthony's Hospital Morton Plant North Bay (New Port Richey) St. Joseph's Hospital-Main (Tampa) St. Joseph's Hospital-North (Lutz) St. Joseph's Hospital-South (Riverview) South Florida Baptist Hospital Winter Haven Hospital Bartow Regional Medical Center BayCare Hospital Wesley Chapel 🛏️ Units Offered-New graduate RN full-time positions may be offered on the following units (availability based on hospital needs) Medical/Surgical Orthopedics Renal/GI Telemetry Neurology Pulmonary Oncology Cardiac/PCU Post-Surgical Critical Care (CCIP) - Designed for new graduates with active RN license; no current openings for January, February, or March 2026 Emergency Nursing (ENIP) - Designed for new graduates with active RN license; no current openings for January, February, or March 2026 Unit availability is based off of hospital needs 📝 Additional Information on Critical Care Internship and Emergency Nurse Internship Program Some units, such as Critical Care and Emergency, include an added internship component that requires: 3 weeks of didactic and minimum 16 weeks of preceptorship Guided clinical orientation to ensure up-to-date and comprehensive care knowledge Shift: Interns will gain experience on both day and night shift before being assigned a permanent shift Every other weekend requirement Commitment: This is an hours-based commitment required for the internship program specifically to the unit of hire beginning at the end of completed preceptorship hours These openings are limited and may not be available each cycle.
